To all of our patients,

We hope that you and your families are all keeping safe during this pandemic. We wanted to reassure you that the SmileOne team are working hard to reopen as soon as possible and keen to resume service in these challenging times.

We're really looking forward to seeing you in person again, but our primary focus is your health and safety and that of our staff. Visits to dentists will now be very different to ensure this. For instance waiting rooms will be kept as empty as possible for social distancing. Also we will provide you with a mask, hand gel and gloves when you arrive.

We will provide more information on what a visit will entail in the next few days but listed below are some of the additional equipment being installed to ensure your safety:

  1. Virus killer air purification systems.
  2. Enhanced dental suction units to keep the air clean during treatments.
  3. Air pressure systems that help remove any airborne virus particles that may be present after treatments.
  4. Reception desk screens.
  5. Online personalised patient portals to complete forms remotely.
  6. Video consultations to reduce the number of visits. We can arrange general consultations with the use of photos and artificial intelligence to provide an oral health assessment.
    We will also be conducting any initial consultations for Invisalign, Dental implants and Facial Aesthetics through this exciting new technology. Please see our website for details or contact us.

At our SmileOne practices we are also putting into place all the new systems and procedures recommended by experts. Although the government announced that dental practices could open from the 8th June, guidance is still coming through on how we can safely provide care for you and your family.

The SmileOne team will always want to provide you with the highest standards of care. So once all these measures are in place, we can set a reopening date and contact you to let you know how to book a visit.
